This jewel of a course is tucked deep in the corner of North Carolina, surrounded by a beautiful resort. The course is very well kept and has a breathtaking mountain backdrop. The holes are challenging for disc golfers of all levels and the overall design is very creative for such a remote course. Many tee pads and baskets can be found on hillsides which makes interesting shots that most Piedmont courses can't offer. Fontana Village Disc Golf Course is open to the public and cost is a mere 5 dollars. Check in with the Adventure Center Building at the Recreation Hall, where you can borrow discs or buy some new ones before you play.
